Microsoft Access - Macros, Pages, Import and Export
To Export Data Access (.mdb) to Access (.mdb) Format: |

- Create a new database, as – ExportData (or your choose) [optional]
- Open the database where has table
- Select Tables under Objects
- Select a table, as – Employee (or your choose) from database window
- On the File menu, click Export
- Select location > Save as type: Microsoft Office Access (*.mdb) > Select the database, as – ExportData (or your choose) > Click Export button
To View the Exported Data:
- Run Microsoft Office Access
- On the File menu, click Open
- Select location > Select the database, as – ExportData > Click Open button
- You should view the table
To Export Data Access (.mdb) to Excel (.xls) Format: |

- Open the database where has table
- Select Tables under Objects
- Select a table, as – Employee (or your choose) from database window
- On the File menu, click Export
- Select location > Type File name: EmployeeAE (or your choose) > Save as type: Microsoft Excel 97-2003 (*.xls)> Click Export button
To View the Exported Data:
- Run Microsoft Office Excel
- On the File menu, click Open
- Select location > Select the worksheet, as – EmployeeAE> Click Open button
To Export Data Access (.mdb) to Web (.html) Format: |

- Open the database where has table
- Select Tables under Objects
- Select a table, as – Employee (or your choose) from database window
- On the File menu, click Export
- Select location > Type File name: EmployeeHTML (or your choose) > Save as type: HTML Documents (*.html) > Click Export button
To View the Exported Data:
- Run Microsoft Office Word
- On the File menu, click Open
- Select location> Select the document, as – EmployeeHTML > Click Open button
- or
- Run Internet Explorer
- On the File menu, click Open
- Click Browse button
- Select location > Select the document, as – EmployeeHTML > Click Open button
- Click Ok button
To Export Data Access (.mdb) to Rich Text Format (.rtf) Format: |

- Open the database where has table
- Select Tables under Objects
- Select a table, as – Employee (or your choose) from database window
- On the File menu, click Export
- Select location > Type File name: EmployeeRTF (or your choose) > Save as type: Rich Text Format (*.rtf) > Click Export button
To View the Exported Data:
- Run Microsoft Office Word or WordPad
- On the File menu, click Open
- Select location > Select the document, as – EmployeeRTF > Click Open button
To Export Data Access (.mdb) to Text Document (.txt) Format: |

- Open the database where has table
- Select Tables under Objects
- Select a table, as – Employee (or your choose) from database window
- On the File menu, click Export
- Select location > Type File name: EmployeeTXT (or your choose) > Save as type: Text Files (*.txt) > Click Export button
To View the Exported Data:
- Run Microsoft Office Word or WordPad
- On the File menu, click Open
- Select location > Select the document, as – EmployeeTXT > Click Open button
To Import Data Access (.mdb) from Access (.mdb) Format: |

- Create a new database, as – ImportData (or your choose) [optional]
- Select Tables under Objects
- Click New on the 'database window toolbar'
- Select Import Table and click Ok button
- Select location > Select Files of type: Microsoft Office Access (*.mdb) > Select the database > Click Import button
- Select a table under Tables tab > Click Ok button
To Import Data Access (.mdb) from Excel (.xls) Format: |

- Select Tables under Objects
- Click New on the 'database window toolbar'
- Select Import Table > Click Ok button
- Select location > Select Files of type: Microsoft Excel (*.xls) > Select the worksheet (Excel File) > Click Import button
- Click Next button
- Select First Row Contains Column Headings > Click Next button
- Click Next button
- Click Next button
- Define Primary Key option > Click Next button
- Type a unique table name > Click Finish button
To Import Data Access (.mdb) from Web Document (.html) Format |

- Select Tables under Objects
- Click New on the 'database window toolbar'
- Select Import Table > Click Ok button
- Select location > Select Files of type: HTML Documents (*.html) > Select the document (HTML File) > Click Import button
- Select First Row Contains Column Headings > Click Next button
- Click Next button
- Click Next button
- Define Primary Key option > Click Next button
- Type a unique table name > Click Finish button
